It wasn't he's just making it up. Otherwise, like a good slickdealer, he would have posted it here for all to enjoy a slickdeal. But he didnt, so there was no such deal.
I believe this is their normal price as it's been this price since at least May (discounted to $1899, it was frequently out of stock but did get restocked periodically). It's one of the best deals at normal price for this sort of configuration (9800x3d, 5070 TI, 2TB, 32GB DDR5 6000Mhz CL38). The only thing I'm not fan of is the CL38 RAM (which is a minor criticism) but otherwise it's the best price point for this configuration that I could find from a reputable builder (this is likely the best gaming PC you can buy under 2K with a 5070 TI+9800x3d). With the Nvidia 5000 series Super GPU variants coming out soon, hopefully we will see similar competitive pricing from other companies.

I built this pc but a different case of course, an upper tier motherboard to do two GPUs eventually at x/8, and decided to do a 2TB PCIe 5. Also a 1500W bequiet power supply for later. I did the newegg deal few months ago with this processor, x850 motherboard, 32GB crucial and a 1TB hard drive for like 850.

I would not purchase another CyberPowerPC again. I purchased directly from from CyberPower. The build quality was not great missing extra fans ordered and poor wiring. It eventually died at 1 year exactly. Customer service was horrible and offered no help. I would not recommend CyberPower even through Walmart.

I still spent about 2500 or so.
This is a pretty good deal if you ask me.
You can build a little bit better configuration (more premium parts) with a better PSU from Micro Center for up to 2K (using a bundle). But this is still a very solid pre-built (I would pull the trigger but I don't mind waiting until around Black Friday, also the 5070 TI Super *may* be released in October). Historically the worst thing about Cyberpower is their cheap PSU but I imagine this applies to the majority of pre-builts (especially any competitively priced builds).

Under $2k is doable as current bundle price is $630 with an Asus Prime B650E MB and 5070TI are easier to find now at MSRP.. But you need a Micro Center close by.

I just finished my build. After the GPU price matches to current sales. I paid just about this much.
It's an all-white build with the old NZXT H9 Flow case. But if this was available at the time i was shopping parts. I would probably have gone with this so i don't have to waste time running benchmarks and troubleshooting XMP settings lol.
