Hi,is this a good price?
It's an awesome price for a high quality PSU. Most people shouldn't need more power than this. You should get 10+ years use out of it.

RMe has Taiwanese capacitors and a smaller 120mm fan. RMx has Japanese capacitors and a 140 mm fan. FYI

Paid $159 for this 1.5 years ago from Newegg. still working great on my 14900k + 4090FE build. Always oversize the PSU so its usage is like 75% max for best efficiency.

actually peak efficiency is 20%-50% ish but still decent from 50-75%.

In any case it's only a 5-10% difference across the power range above 100W of draw.

I agree. I have my PSU blowing in with an exhaust fan to take out the hot air. Temps are nice and cool and my storage server is so quiet.

I bought the (better component build) RM850x for $100 last October, and was able to stack it with -$30 from Discover offer. If you don't need to build right now, you might find a better deal soon.

If you need to buy now, the Termaltake Tough Power GF1 also has no fan at lower loads. It was also on my short list. 850w for $100: https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltak...88GMT&th=1

I personally bought the Corsair HX1200i from Newegg for $200 last week.
I thought that was a solid deal.
