Decent deal considering current used (good condition) market is at least $650 and Samsung official site's certified refurbished is $1k.
This is also the last known variant which stylus supports bluetooth, useful for taking pictures with pen button click. S25U was a dealbreaker.

I think most users would much prefer a MicroSD slot for memory expansion, if given the choice between that and the S Pen. That was a big advantage that Samsung had over Apple in years past, which to me was foolish to do away with. There are workarounds like cloud storage, but nothing beats plenty of onboard storage.

I bought my s24fe (new,128gig, global version) for $370 early last month then all these ultra deals pop up.

I would have bought the s24u for $700 because of the Bluetooth selfie pen.

The pen itself is very useful for editing pics. Loved it on my Motorola G stylus.
Selfies without contorting your hand is a bonus

the best phone ever made (to date). its the ultimate king! BUT 256 is less for it. memory slot was canceled after note 20+. have had this phone for 1.5 years and won't trade for anything including the S25 ULTRA.
color does not matter these days and covers kill that aspect of the phone anyway.
1.5 years ago I paid about same with a trade of my note 10+.

10+ was a typo. Note 20S was last.

There is reason why Samsung discontinued bluetooth stylus. People just never use stylus.

A lot of Android features in Samsung is so niche. Most people do not care about the features.
i concur, been a note user since the 2nd gen up to the very end and honestly i cant remember the last time i used the spen. great to have it but at the same time rarely ever used it. i would say 99% of people would not touched the pen at least once a week.

Agreed, it would be a very user-friendly action to do that. Unfortunately, when you multiply the amount of phones they can upsell you on storage without an sd card, it's too tempting as a busines not to take away that option.

Phones like these lose like 80% of their value after 3 years. There's really no need to be upgrading phones often.
I bought a Note 20 Ultra a couple of years ago for $200. I can sell it back for $200 right now.
Will upgrade to the S24 Ultra in a couple of years when it will be around $250 and my Note 20 Ultra will be $180. $70 upgrade.

That's a good way to look at these flagship phones. The fall off from value comes from demand and the ones who spend money have high disposable income (which are the main consumers these are sold to). the turnover with people upgrading phones from these same people is quite high because a lot of them just have to have the latest. at most, they hold onto the phone for 2 years. now you got former flagship phones that are 2 years or older and they just drop in value to 20% or 30% of their MSRP, although you have to dig for places that offer them at those low prices.
