I'm really sorry, but when did that become normal $4.2K for a Samsung fridge being notoriously unreliable by popular demand (sd/reddit)?

i see many have issues but ive been using 3 samsung fridges for 8 years and no issues. i think a lot of the failures stem from inadequate cooling when they are mounted within a cabinet enclosure. the cabinets above the fridge should have cooling vents for the fridge.

Samsung fridge filters leak. they blame customers for buying "fakes" despite being obviously authentic filters. Samsung appliances are as bad as most people say.

I've owned Frigidaire, Maytag, kitchenaid, kenmore, LG, Bosch, and GE. Guess what? They all suck.

We've had nothing but problems with Samsung, and dealing with their warranty is like jumping through hoops until you're exhausted. Buying their memory is one thing, buying their appliances is quite another.

Don't buy a Samsung fridge. Ever. I regret daily that we got the one we did, every time I have to walk over to the countertop icemaker I own because the built-in kept freezing up. I finally gave up and will never get back the dozen hours or so I spent using a hairdryer on a farking kitchen appliance.

PSA....please don't buy Samsung even at 80% off. Fridge has been nothing but headaches... ice maker breaks, filter leaks, ice forms under drinks tray ....literally endless problems

I have a Samsung fridge, and the ice maker broke down pretty quick. Next fridge I'm going to put down a little more scratch for a more reliable brand.
