My Pixel 7 does not contain a DAC, this is what I need to connect it to 3.5mm devices. I've been using this one off and on for years, no problems.

remove "Same" from his URL. https://a.co/d/i080FPU it's a no name, "TIPSEAN". YMMV if it's any good. not that I swear by JSAUX either

Much better options out there, including some with power pass through so you can add audio and still charge device.

Oopsie haha. Corrected. And yeah, I'm 99% positive they're both made in the same factory in china, just distributed by two different retailers. they're identical products, both have the "smart dac" chip etc. I'd rather get one that has both usb c and 3.5mm so I can charge my phone at the same time, otherwise using headphones with this adapter is gonna drain ur phone fast.

There is a large difference in DAC chips across manufactures, even the Apple Dongle is very different sold in Europe Vs. USA despite being the same product. Not sure how you can be 99% positive that they are the same.

I didn't buy this brand, but a different off brand version would activate the assistant whenever plugged in.

Yup this is a solid adapter, have several and a few are at least a few years old if not older than 5 and still ticking. Well constructed.

The only downside is the size, it's a lot bulkier than an apple or pixel adapter.

Yup, though the apple adapter is due to volume caps in the EU vs US, not chip differences.

True, point was more that what you think you see is not always what you get.
