I get finding smoking disgusting. As a premium cigar smoker, not that trash from a gas station, who is also lifelong hater of cigarettes, yes, it's the flavor. There's nothing in a premium cigar but aged tobacco. Blending the different types together produces different flavor profiles, just like the different grains and aging methods used in distilling produce different flavors. Plus, it's a commitment to smoke a premium cigar. It's intentional. Your average premium cigar takes 60-120 minutes to enjoy. That's time to savor and reflect. And, as someone who generally smokes a cigar a day, I've gone weeks without smoking one with no withdrawal.

TL;DR: solid selection of good cigars at $2 each. Great buy and repped.

I love Oliva's blends. To my palate, these are a solid selection. La Aurora is more hit-or-miss for my palate, but at $2 a cigar, you get a great low cost of entry to figure out which you might like. I think the Oliva alone are worth it.

If you're in for flavor cigars
La aroma de Cuba "mi amor" is where it's at

This is quite good for $2 a stick. The La Auroras are the Preferidos line which are more flavorful than the cheaper La Auroras that they usually put in samplers (like the regular band ones or the 107 or 115). The Oliva part is also good. Each of these cigars probably sell for $7-8. CigarPage always have these 10 pack $20 samplers but I think this particular lineup is the best they've put in one assortment.

These Preferidos La Auroras are more flavorful than the usual Domincan La Aurora stuff which is generally a balanced blend.

Definitely worth an extra $10 for the Xikar lighter. I'd skip the plastic $5 lighter.

Well, this is understandable for a non cigar smoker. It creates smoke, ash and the butt. However, the flavor of good/great cigars is like varying BBQ tastes. The ones I drift towards have coffee, chocolate and basic BBQ sensations. This is a good assortment.

Tobacco is quite rich in many psychoactive alkaloids, with nicotine being the most famous. It is a known psychedelic with a long history of ritualistic use. Don't let the puny cigarette smokers fool you.
It is certainly an acquired taste, and the smoke may not be pleasant to bystanders. Responsible smokers should always be mindful of others, and others should be respectful of their right to smoke!

Curious (big Olivia fan as well) if you have any recommendations for cigars which are similar in mildness and character to Olivia yet are more premium. Thanks in advance.
