"This particular unit is New bulk and has an Apple warranty as well (majority of our listings are refurbished, this one in particular truly is new)."

"Refurbished" by who? Certainly not Apple or it would say that and come with Apple's own 1yr warranty on refurbs. You don't know what you get with an eBay seller's "refurb" and eBay's validation that "it seems to work." Hardly comparable to an Apple refurb and not something I'd risk $thousands on.

It comes with a one-year "All States" warranty, which is a national insurance company's warranty.

There's a 60-day free returns period, along with a one-year "All States" warranty. So, sure, you can "trust them"....or if you get something you don't like, simply return it in the same condition you got it, at no cost to yourself.

I took a chance on one of these eBay refurb deals from a similarly reputable seller (tekdeals) and the "Excellent" MacBook was new, still had screen paper, still had AppleCare+ coverage and had 1 battery cycle. I think "Excellent" means unused for these sellers.
