I was doing something deducing and I think Chipotle is probably making some backend off NIL. Think about it. If you want to take advantage of this deal and have to wear a jersey, more people are going to go out and buy a jersey, if they do not have one. So who is to write that Chipotle did not already make a deal with the NCAA that from this period to this period, anyone who buys a jersey means Chipotle gets a cut? Of course, someone could buy knockoffs through the black market or some guy off the street and that would be a loss of revenue, but the promotion never stated it had to be legit.

I remember I did this once for a free smoothie at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, the first ever time I knew it was a brand. The Sunshine Smoothie was like around $2-3 because they gave everyone a smaller size than a regular. I had to pay like $2.99+ for flip flops. Of course, I highly doubt Tropical Smoothie Cafe was making anything backend off flip flop brands.
