Yea, $50 for 48 pictures from target. I would rather get one of those mini printers.

Kodak mini 2 retro is what I use. I did get mine off of Facebook marketplace for $10 which was a steal for how much I love it. Take photos on my iPhone and print them out and share them with people I cross paths with. I bought a Polaroid book on aliexpress for around $6

I been using HP Sprocket. Photo paper is like $15-$20 for 50pcs. You can edit before you print.

This is exactly right, everyone whining about film cost seems be forgetting that this isn't going to replace a phone camera, it's just for some fun here and there. And the film can be found very reasonably if you know where to look.

As someone who has shot ~1500+ photos on these cameras.. avoid this one. Not only is the film incredibly expensive, it's also very finnicky and low quality and the cameras will give you nothing but frustration.

I liked Polaroid for the funkyness compared to Instax.. but these cameras are so poor that dark, underexposed photos are not the retro goodness they advertise. Further, the film does not hold up (prior to exposure, or after). Almost all of my photos taken on the new Polaroid film have gone faded and all but disappeared within a couple years (the black and white variety), faded and lost contrast, or just look bad now.

Instax is a much "cleaner" image, but much more consistent and much cheaper. Do yourself a favor and just buy that.

I love(d) Polaroid, and instant film, shooting ~25,000 photos across the different formats.. I did get some awesome photos, but the 'keep' ratio on Polaroid is something like 1 or 2 per pack.
