Pics and specs also say ddr4 and sata if you scroll down. 6800H is ddr5. Pic also shows 6900hx. I wish they would clean up their page so it only showed accurate info.

No, it does not as per the reviews I've seen. It has 3 modes and in performance mode, it pulls around 54W sustained and it doesn't overheat at that setting.

I have an AXT1800 GL-inet router that pulls 20w, and the top of it is hot. If it had internal limitations for air flow; it would be hot enough to burn electronics. I also have a laptop that pulls 6 watts. I'm not worried about that, at THAT nominal range.

The Spec is for the older model with Ryzen 7 5700U. They merged both on the same page but did not separate the specifications. 6800H does not even support DDR4.

Can this be used for photo and plex storage without transcoding? Why can't they add a small fan to these things, you can get a fan for raspberry pi, but not for this?

Confusing info on the M.2 drives....suggests that they are both SATA in one place, another says one is SATA, the other is NVME. Who knows, maybe it's 2 NVME's????

Yes, it powerful enough with transcoding. It has a fan. 6800h is a beast, GPU accelerated transcoding, and the GPU is about what you would find on a steam deck.

remove OS, put a different OS on, run server for video games. mine has been running a variety of game servers all year with no issues. not to say there is or isn't anything wrong with acemagic- but it's perfect for those who just want to run a server.

Easily, you could run multiple instances of both. And play a game all at the same time.

if you want it to just work use an Intel and/or Nvidia. if you're willing to risk it AMD has some limited hardware support and even that isn't official. The feature request has been out there for at least 8 years:

It has two M.2 2280 Slots. One only supports PCIe NVMe based M.2 drives whereas the 2nd one supports both SATA III and PCIe NVMe based M.2 2280 drives. SATA III does not mean it is a 2.5" HDD or SSD, it comes in M.2 2280 Form Factor which is called Key B whereas the NVMe is called Key M. Some M.2 drives come with support for both Key M + Key B, whereas some only support one or other. Here the 2nd SSD slot has B+M connector, supporting both type of SSDs. The M.2 2230 slots designated for Network Card is called Key E.

But there are plenty of straight forward guides in Reddit and some for Plex directly about how to use AMD Graphics and people have been doing that for years. Below is one such example: -
