no, not by a long shot. i bought the gallon when it went on SlickDeals for $5. Braggs annihilates this. the flavor is night and day. i still use the gallon though. it makes for a good cleaner.

I wouldn't get this if its for health purposes. It appears to be filtered and has no mother (probiotics). Probably fine for cleaning or cooking though.

I don't trust this Amazon stuff either. Just know that Braggs was bought out by an investment capital firm and many have reported the quality has suffered. Many health food stores have stopped carrying it, but placement in corporate grocery stores has climbed.
