Thr 4060ti has either 8GB or 16GB of VRAM depending on the configuration. This one is 8GB per specs.

I wanna pull the trigger on this as a gift for my girlfriend, however, the 8GB of VRAM worries me a little bit... Seems like a good deal but I feel like a 5000 series deal or at least a prebuilt with a 16gb VRAM option might pop up over the next few days ☹️

Can you get 5000 series at this price point?

I wonder when RTX5060 open box system will fall to $600 - $700 range!

I was gonna pull the trigger on one near me (even though I don't need it -- it's the SD way)... then I saw reviews on BB site about users struggling to upgrade RAM (it wouldn't post -- or if it did, the memory speed was throttled). Perplexity confirms the issues [perplexity.ai].

I'm the kinda guy who would immediately want go in and upgrade the RAM.

Throwing this out there in case this concerns anyone else. Otherwise, slick deal!

You can't get more than 8gb VRAM at this price point. Any 4000/5000 with 16gm VRAM the cards costs the same as the system if not more.

Bought this new on Black Friday for $1000 and I'd say at this open box price it's well worth it. I play all my games at 1440p high settings and got a stable 90-110 in Monster Hunter Wilds albeit with frame gen and DLSS Quality, 60fps in Helldivers 2 with DLSS Quality, 120+ in Delta Force, around 100 in Battlefield 6 but I preferred to cap that one at 60. It's pretty great performance for playing in 1440p resolution so I'm confident it'll do anything you want if youre gaming at 1080p.
I did upgrade the ram to 32GB asap cause I wanted to be able to have firefox tabs open while gaming. Keep in mind you need to buy the exact same ram as the stock ram if you wanna upgrade. And as much as I want to upgrade to a 5070TI or the upcoming supers, that would require you upgrading the PSU as well cause the stock one is only 650W so a little too close for comfort on a stronger GPU than stock.
One of the best things about this pre-built is that it's probably the most quiet pre-built out there. Even when gaming and the fans spin faster, it's hardly noticeable, there's no other prebuilt like this and I've had many from CyberpowerPC, Alienware, etc. There's a chance that you gamble and get one with a whiny PSU which hums from time to time but thats the risk of quality control with any PSU. Temps are also good on this rig and I live in Arizona. It's lasted our 100+ degree summer so far with temps never going above 80c on loads with stock fans and cooler.
