Diadem is pretty solid and on par with the industry norm, they just don't have the market share of those huge big name brands (which is probably a good thing, there is so much garbage they put out you have to filter through now vs Diadem's 2-3 lines of products) but they basically use the same OEM as many of them (e.g. YMA). They're also fairly new as it was founded in 2015. Don't get hung up on brand names, it matches the Babolat pure drive specs very closely and is a solid alternative, and like $200 less. Their V3 frames are really nice, but overpriced, this is probably like 90% as good (they don't change much at all between racket generations). I play recreationally and would recommend especially at this price.

Seriously?! This is the top deal under "Deals everyone is talking about?" Ironically most deals in this category have no comments or likes. Slickdeals has really gone downhill. it seems like every year they goes by they stuff more and more seeded ads which has completely overrun legitimate deals.

Slickdeals has turned into mostly slickshills. I've been on slickdeals for 20 years and it's gotten worse and worse, especially aver the past 5 years. The problem is, it's the best platform out there, and they know it, so they can push for ads to increase profitability .

The new Novas are out so they are clearing out these- solid stick- if you like the Babolat Pure Drive - and dont want to pay $300- this is a good alternative

I've played all my life except the last few years (age and tendonitis in my feet) but I've never heard of this brand. How long has it been around?

im a 5.0 USTA player(highest .87 % of rec players - as they advertise).
Diadem is a solid brand. This racquet is a competitor to the Babolat pure drive. There is a newer generation out called the V3- which is why this one is on sale. This frequently happens with the major brands as well- really solid deal for $70.
You have to know what you are looking for. This is a power racquet.

Note that this is an extended length racquet. Something to keep in mind. Okay price if just getting in the game, but think tennis warehouse has some labor day deals like the price warrior for $79.99 which you can get free syn gut strings.

Yonex is Club quality. But Wilson is probably below club quality.

It is a good deal, but it is a plus model, which is longer than usual. Although it provides more power and depth, the player has to put more strength into swinging it. Do not recommend to the recreational players.
