doesn't feel like a good deal on a headset that came out for the PS4 and has had no upgrades since then either.

I prefer this over their new crap they have. the nova ones require software for audio mixing which is a big pain and always reset settings on me. I'll continue to use these older ones and be more than satisfied. these are still great at this price regardless of when they were first manufactured

From what I've read, spending double the money for the nova pro is pretty worthless. Sound quality is about the same, and no real upgrades. I'm not an audiophile or anything, and if I was I wouldn't be getting gaming headphones. I'm really happy spending this amount of money for the quality. Love the hot swappable batteries for those days where I go to bed at 5am and forget to turn my headphones off after gaming, though.
