imo this movie was mid and forgettable but in it's defense I have a friend who loved it and watched it four times. I think it actually may be more divisive than it seems

I think it was perfectly okay, the bar is so low in this era where that's the best you could possibly hope for from a mainstream Hollywood studio. I think the people who loved it were just so shocked to see a Superman that wasn't a grim dark psychopath again.
