i got one of these for graduation (a long long loooooong time ago) and really loved it. Used it all the way through my first house. Yes its crappy but if you use it enough to know it sucks, then you also know its worth upgrading. Great for the little house needs and for keeping it all in one place. i lugged mine all throughout college and beyond.

Totally agree. Too many tool snobs (myself included) or blue collar folks will bash this set and tell you to buy higher quality. Even if a single high quality tool costs as much as this entire set. Like you said, if something breaks, gets worn out, or you simply need higher quality/precision, then upgrade as needed.
