Is this a good drive?

I was thinking about buying a prebuilt, but the upgrade prices are ridiculous. For instance, Dell wants $730 to go from .5 TB to 4 TB. At those prices, could build two for what Dell wants to charge for one.

After seeing that $149.99 4TB WD SN850X NVME SSD on reddit, not a single SSD deal on slickdeals can match that...even Front page ones.

It's a good drive at a good price. It's in the 2nd-fastest tier of NVMe drives currently available - anything noticeably faster will cost $400 for this capacity. And you'd only get those faster speeds if you computer has PCIe 5. If your computer has PCIe 4 it nearly maxes out the possible throughout (those $400 drives would still show around the same speeds cuz the motherboard is the speed limit at that point)
