Interesting they are offering movies when they just got rid of movies through Microsoft. This is actually better though since you can add it to your VUDU/Fandango library instead.

I recommend Peacemaker. It is crude but a fun show.

Yeah, direct redemption is through FanFlix (subsidiary of Universal) vs. directly on the Microsoft Store

All listed films are Movies Anywhere (MA) compatible while the listed TV shows are not

Was hoping they had Superman (2025) as a selection

You spelled his name "Christopher Reeves". It is "Christopher Reeve" with no "S" at the end.

This is a common mistake, because Superman was also played by "George Reeves".

I wonder now, since the character Frank Drebin of Naked Gun has now been played by two actors with similar names (Leslie Nielson and Liam Neeson), if people will mix up their names the way they mix up the names of Superman actors George Reeves and Christopher Reeve. Liam Nielson? Leslie Neeson?

Horrible waste of points when you can redeem an Amazon gift card.

Edit: Now that I see it's for each, it makes it an even worse deal.

Each movie is the equivalent of $2.38 in Amazon credit (if you are grandfathered into the $5 for 5,250). How is that not a good deal?

The only show listed that I have experience with is Peacemaker and that's an instant buy for me. Are any of the other shows worth a watch?

Yes, I have over 200k points and using just $2.50 or so of value for each of these movies is worth it for me. Remember when people used to pay $3 to rent a movie from Blockbuster for the weekend? This is 30 years later and keeping* the movie for less than that.

*keeping because you technically never own any digital content and I don't need to hear about it again.

A heads up to anyone out there that it only let me redeem 4 of these and on the 5th one, it is "in progress" rather than completing instantly. So I can't redeem anymore until the 5th transaction goes through. I was planning on doing all the Christopher Reeve movies and Peacekeeper Season 1.

When I redeemed for the Middle Earth films earlier this year, I also got stuck after doing, I think, 3 quickly one after the other. The other ones should go through after a day or so. Since this is good thru Oct 18, there's plenty of time to redeem others.
