Terrible tool. Brushed, not 7-1/4 and underpowered.

You're trying too hard OP. Only thing worse than a bad tool is a reconditioned bad tool.

lol I've bought many reconditioned tools from FAO, they come looking and acting brand new, and all of them are still in service. they operate the same, just not as much $$

How is this a terrible tool? It has 4.6 stars on 4704 reviews on Home Depot, Amazon shows 4.7 stars on 1512 reviews. While I dont have first hand experience with this saw its probably great for someone that occasionally cuts 2x4s or something. Yeah it's no $400 fuel saw but not everyone needs one of those.... especially with this at $67

Try cutting a pressure treated 2x4 with this circ saw...I'll wait for your reply.

Bet I can guess at least 2 of the 4-letter words that you'll be yelling.

We have it. Kind sucks. Not much power. Perfect for a tool shed or homeowner.

Still we are pros and get away with it as our daily circular.

Just wish we had one with more power. We remodel; some framing. Nothing crazy. It works but we know there's better. We stall the thing on beams now and then which is dangerous. Good blades are crucial. We have private saws and they are so much better but don't want to wear them at work.

This is perfect for a homeowner though.

We actually get away with it every day. It's really not terrible with the right blade. It is underpowered though.
