Crazy how we were forced into paying way above market value and now we see the true value price and it's tempting to buy, how about that mind f**k
I know the feeling but don't fall for it, 12GB should not be acceptable on $550 card in 2025 when we had 8GB on $230 cards in 2022 (see my post history)

I think a reason these aren't selling is because this gen has been stingy with VRAM and lots of people are waiting for the Supers. The 3070 TI had 16 GB of RAM (4 more GB than this...)

It's definitely one of the reasons I haven't upgraded this gen. Also the 3070 ti has 8 GB, a 16 GB model was never released.
Worst 70-series card ever that's not even worth MSRP. Only ~10% faster than 4070 and can't even beat 4070 Ti. Only thing it has it going for is DLSS MFG (which isn't going to be that useful at this performance level). Not even 30-series owners should ever consider this card.
Def. wait for Super variant if you want a 70-series, if rumors are to be believed. Otherwise, I'd shoot for 5070 Ti minimum for upgrade. Super versions for 70 Ti-series and 80-series is likely going to be just a VRAM bump assuming rumors are true, which would mean barely any performance difference.
