Cherry MX Board 3.0 S Wired Mechanical Keyboard | Front Face Lettering | RGB Lighting | Aluminum Housing MX Red Silent Switches for Gaming and Office
I bought one of these "on sale" a few months ago for a similar price and returned it. The lighting looked bad, the keys felt horrible, the font is hideous, and those are subjective, but the keyboard also made annoying squeaking noises out of the box. On top of all that, Amazon tried to charge me a fee to return it. I wouldn't recommend this brand, I think the MSRP has to be extremely fake here, the switches seem to have a good reputation but the full keyboard felt and looked extremely cheap aside from the weight.

well, got the keyboard, the lighting situation is pretty poor. in the pic I have the keyboard set to white, and I get a rainbow effect with the rgb.
The keys sounds fine actually.
I got the red silent

oh yikes... I ordered the same one. Guess we'll see if I get a dud too.

So I think I figured out what's happening. When the white color option is selected, all of the RGB LEDs light up to create white light. Unfortunately, the LEDs are spaced far enough apart that you can see individual colors from most angles. If you look at the key labels themselves, they actually are all white; the effect just doesn't look as good because of the aforementioned lighting issues. If some of the keys are actually the "wrong" color, the use manual says you can press & hold the Fn and "Pause" keys for 5 seconds while plugged in to reset it to factory default settings.I'll have to test my own keyboard for a while before I can give any detailed info, but my first impressions are pretty positive. The build quality is nice and very solid. Pressing down on the keys with the red/silent switches has a slight initial "click" but it is very quiet and the sound is dampened completely when the keys reach the bottom.I actually do like the default lighting options and I'm going to try and do some of my own customizing in the Cherry software. Wasn't sure if I would like the side-facing keycaps, but boy does it look slick when the lights are off.For the price, right now I would give this a solid 8/10. I'll update if anything comes up, but overall I'm quite happy with it 👍

the other issue I had with the led lights, is that they seem to be shining directly in my eyes because of the key spacing.
I do agree, the keyboard is solid, switches are great, but the lighting is a big enough issue. returned mine. I have a decent enough keyboard for now.

Not sure if it'll help anyone else, but shows a code of "JKONE5LZJDLI" (for the 20% off brand promotion).
