Monitor looks good but the lack of Displayport (Yes I know you can convert USB-C to DP) native is a bit of a turnoff..

I bought this and the HDMI versions for my desktop running off my Mac mini. I find these monitors to be very warm, very bright, and leans toward red. Need some time to really focus on adjusting the color settings.

quantum dot is a technology to allow higher color gamut and accuracy
usually now also higher sustained brightness oled panels have great contrast in general but no where near the brightness of standard backlit led and mini led to overcome daylight viewing but oleds still great if you usually watch in dim to dark enviorments

250 nits is way too dim if you are not in a completely dark room. About to return my Samsung G8 for that reason. This uses the same panel.

Anyone know if they will ever sell the older 32' 4k curved monitor? Hasn't been in stock anymore.

I sometimes feel I'm the only one that doesn't like watching tv or using the computer in the dark. I hate it actually.

This is not correct. I've been using another 250 nit 32" OLED monitor (AOC Agon) for over a month. I have 2 large windows directly behind my desk. It is fine. The monitor is very bright.

Your monitor might be bright but the Samsung isn't. Not to mention it's matte. The colors didn't pop like oled usually does.

Ah it's matte…. Ah man…. Somehow there's a review on YouTube made it look glossy. Glad you brought it up.

I tried to like it but couldn't. Just came from Best Buy and saw a glossy oled monitor from Asus. No comparison. The dimness combined with the matte display was something I couldn't deal with. Plus the abl was getting on my nerves too.
