The 3200 with LatteGo that I got a few years ago on Prime Day is still working well.

Any one have any opinions of quality, regarding price as well? I'm not the coffee drinker but been looking to give my wife a gift and I'm not knowledgeable on coffee stuff

Get a Phillips automated. It's more expensive but you push a button and get great coffee drinks. Unless she specifically wants a manual machine.

The Philips fully-automated machines are approximately twice the price - or more - of this deal. Wink

Right? Why not get a Profitec while we're at it. Can someone instead who actually used comment in this please?

How crazy is she about coffee drinks, and what kind of drinks are her preference?

Does she really love espresso, actually order and drink espresso when it's available, is she excited about different flavors of beans, and does she ask about roasts when when orders? If so, skip this and anything (semi- or super-)automatic retailing under $2k.

If she doesn't drink espresso (like the actual 1 oz cups), likes Starbucks or Costa coffee, likes espresso-based drinks*, and doesn't mind 8-10 minutes of work to get a cup, then this is probably an acceptable entry/starter machine. If the 8-10 minutes of work put you off, a superautomatic is going to be a better choice, though it will take 20-30 minutes of cleaning every week to one them from becoming a mold garden.

*Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Iced, or even a Flat White (if John Cena comes over)

I am using this machine for past 2 months. Bought it from wayfair and received it after 3-4 days. I like the machine so far. I mostly make latte's with this and prefer it over the automatic machine.
