Pretty poor reviews for a product from a brand that people tend to love.

Yes, even at this price this is a terrible deal.

First you do not get an auto empty dock. That's a pretty basic feature to be missing, even at this price point.

Second, there is no mopping feature. I was a bit skeptical about mopping but it's actually really nice.

Third, even if you wanted a vacuum only model and didn't care about the auto dock, even basic models from other manufacturers outperform this one.

You could get a Mova p10 Pro Ultra for near this price which is nearly flagship quality and features.

Why would you pay that much or any price for something that apparently doesn't function as expected?

I do see you don't understand the importance of that number or how it applies in the real world and use.

Feel free to research some head to head comparisons since it seems you are confused by the age old trick of listing at a very high price and then "sale" pricing an item to make it automatically a hot deal.

I've owned this since it came out - works great for in between manual vacuuming (yes doesn't supplement 100%). The mapping is tricky to set up, but the suction is great, just make sure you don't leave any charging cables on the ground.

Good vacuuming for specific use cases on carpet.

When you see the suction rating, brands measure it in a deceiving way that doesn't reflect true ability in most cases. What matters most is that it's not below 6,000 or so and manipulates the carpet well. Dyson does this well.

This unit doesn't have great navigation or features compared to most units from Chinese brands. They do, however, actually support their products... usually. Good luck with other brands (Eufy might be okay).

If you have a home with non-carpet everywhere? Get one with mopping featured and an auto empty dock that cleans the mop head.

The Roborock QV35A is great at $400, the Mova P10 Pro Ultra at $450 - don't pay much more. Costco has a nice Roborock for around $850 or so that comes with tons of extras, too, if you want that peace of mind and a high end vacuum. Be aware these require maintenance on a monthly or so basis. Nothing major, but it has to be done (cleaning filters, wiping sensors, replacing brushes as needed, etc.).

My strategy is to stick to the $400-500 range and replace every few years. They're improving quickly.

According to reviews this robot vacuum ....only vacuums. No mop. Has amazing carpet suction but.... poor obstacle avoidance and meh software.

It's missing tins of features like 'self empty', no mopping ability, no rgb camera to improve missing obstacles.

If you have pets and like to run on a schedule....this is a hard pass. There are much better options in this price range usually during prime days and occasional holidays. I'd wait.

This Dyson is a hard/easy pass.
