I have this from previous deal. Very solid and good quality. Better than the other ones I used.

microplastics with tennis balls.
plastic = endocrine disrupter

What they do...
  • 100% NATURAL WOOL: Ethically Sourced and Responsibly Assembled 100% Pure New Zealand Wool. No artificial ingredients, colors, or fragrances were used, so you can count on your clothes truly staying fresh.
  • SAY NO TO LIQUID SOFTENER: Our wool dryer balls reduce landfill waste and save you money by eliminating the need for chemical-laden fabric softeners and single-use dryer sheets.
  • LESS STATIC, SOFTER LAUNDRY: Our unscented dryer balls effectively stop static cling, so you're left with clothes that feel soft and fresh straight out of the dryer.
  • SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES: Unlike dryer sheets that can contain artificial fragrances and other chemicals, our dryer wool balls are made only with 100% natural wool with no other surprise ingredients. This makes them a perfect option for those with sensitive skin.
  • SUSTAINABLE LAUNDRY SOLUTION

I bought these awhile ago and really don't notice any difference in drying time or clothes coming out any different then w/ a dryer sheet. I wouldn't waste the money.

Dryer sheets don't really do anything other than deposit chemicals on your clothes. Laundry balls are definitely not a "must," but you may be better off just skipping the laundry sheets

Me too. I was assuming it can absorb the water from other clothes and make the drying process shorter. But I don't notice any difference. Instead, it just dropped some fabric when I cleaned the filter I found that

It is well known that dryer sheets do nothing to reduce static and are just leaching chemicals (yes, softeners and scents are chemicals) onto your clothes. Whether the chemicals are bad or not depends on who you ask, but they are definitely harsher than not using anything or some dryer balls.

Seriously. They just carry goop that melts off onto your clothes and dryer.

I will say that people who have "fancy" dryers with sensors may not notice saving a minute or two in the drying time with wool dryer balls.

Yea I suspect this is what's happening. When I pick a setting on my dryer, it gives a time estimate. But it really adjusts the time as it goes, probably based on humidity/moisture. Then I just walk away and do something else. I don't notice the time savings since I'm not paying close attention.

But if it does cut down drying time (which it should), then you will save a little on your energy bill.

Come to our house in the dead of winter and do some laundry and then tell me dryer sheets do nothing for static.

If you use a Shepard's Sling for fun and recreation, these wool dryer balls are a much better alternative than tennis balls for practicing around people and using as projectile ammo on your consenting fellow slingers.
Dense enough to carry momentum, soft enough to where it won't cause that much harm.
