My wife is a nurse and wears Hoka Bondis, bought her a pair of Arukus and she loves them far more on her 12 hr shifts. Obviously ymmv she still says the Holas are good but she likes the support and springy rebound from the Arukus better over a long shift.

I am an ER vet and walk most of my shift. Any decent brand of running shoes work. Best are comfort models with a lot of cushioning. Right now I am wearing ASICS and Saucony running shoes.
