anyone able to get the trade in option to show up? I remember last year it took a while (1 or 2 hours?) after the original page opened for it to be available

I still don't see tradein options for the unlocked models. Hope they show up soon and are decent.

As someone that has had many Pixels, these just aren't worth the price anymore. Not with their Tensor chips. The msrp needs to be at least $200 cheaper. And the trade-in from previous Pixels have been weak last few years. If you've compared side by side with a flagship snapdragon, then you'd know this isn't worth what Google is asking for.

Uh, last year I got $450 for a 3 year old Pixel 6 plus a $200 gift card to upgrade to the P9P. If you traded in a P8P, you got $700 in credit.
The P9P has been rock solid, lacks all the bloat of Samsung, and gives me something that is not iOS (which I personally loathe - gave it a try with the 14, hated it).
Not to mention the Pixel 10 Tensor chip is designed by TSMC for the first time, rather than Samsung foundry. It's seen a major boost in efficiency with the change.

Who makes the chip is irrelevant, it's how it's designed that determines the performance. It can't compete with snapdragon. I had a Pixel 8 and it was going to be multiple hundreds of dollars getting the Pixel 9 even with trade in.
Also Samsung is not the only other brand that uses Android.

Definitely not lucrative compared to last year.
