If you buy this, get a variant with the peltier cooling pad in the center. Usually a few bucks more, but makes the product 50x more useful. If I don't have an ice pack around, it buys me a few minutes.

Usually. They can cram a second in. Products like this exist to soak up rebinned batteries that don't pass for EVs. Same as portable chargers.
