The chassis is very flimsy that it will bend. Never seen a device like that before. USB occasionally freeze for several seconds. Nothing else. Worth it if you buy for cheap.

There was another deal for a slightly worse model last week with only 16g of RAM for $400 instead of the 32g listed here, which is basically the same thing except this listing has an extra stick of RAM. I thought this laptop had most everything I wanted - fast processor, large capacity RAM and storage, and most importantly for me - USB C charging and upgradability. I was also considering a touch screen, but that's more a "nice to have" feature for me. One of the "dealbreakers" for me was WiFi5, but I thought it wasn't a big deal because I can just buy a Wifi 7 card and upgrade it. Welp, I got the laptop yesterday and I opened it up earlier today. RAM (2 slots) and storage are upgradeable, but the network card is soldered onto the motherboard. Wth? I've never seen one soldered like this before. It's a Realtek 8822ce, and when I googled it, it sounds like this chip has known issues where it'll just disconnect and not see any wifi networks. I guess I can buy a USB wifi 7 adapter if I really need it...but now I'm really considering returning it and either buying this listing for the extra RAM. Or just be patient until I find another deal with a less $hitty wifi chip.

Other than those issues, this laptop seems quite capable. I'm not too picky, but the backlit keyboard is decent, and it comes with a number pad. Yes, the construction is plastic, but it's sturdy enough. I'm not purposely trying to bend it like reviewers on Youtube do. Speakers have a wide soundstage but lack bass, which is typical for most laptops. At the end of the day, if you're just looking for a decent laptop to do everyday things, this is a very good value and can serve you for probably the next 5-7 years (or longer if you're stingy like me).

TOP PRIME SERVICE
4.5 out of 5 stars
85% positive in the last 12 months (126 ratings)

Better than the previous seller a few days ago that was like 76% positive, but there really needs to be some more vetting of these third party sellers with terrible recent reviews. It's no coincidence that these are almost all posted by staff, I'm sure.

If you open it up can you return it? I opened the box and played around with it for a few hours. Would they charge a restocking fee?
