The lids on these are thinner than the Costco ones otherwise they are identical

Bought at least 2 of these a year ago and didn't notice any real difference.
I mainly use them for seasonal storage lightweight merchandise.

Value in this deal is the FREE shipping.

I got a pretty decent amount of these over the years due to military moves. The only ones I've broke have been Costcos version.

This is a fine deal. If you can wait, they usually drop down to 6.98 during Xmas.

In my experience, the boxes from Costco ended up breaking on me.

Free local delivery for me in SoCal. I ordered 6 last time, but even 1 gets delivered free next day.

I've probably 50 of the 27 gallon totes I've accumulated over the last 15 years. Ones from HD seemed the worst. Greenmade, from Costco and Office Depot/Office Max have worked the best for me.

Shipping is free if you have silver status. Not sure if everyone gets that or not.

I just ordered two. Arrives tomorrow.

Our local Costco in Ohio had these at $8 this weekend, might want to check there first.

I'll just add that these are so much better than boxes when it comes to moving.
Having done a move with the "Heavy duty" boxes (~$3/each), they still fall apart and don't stack with any sort of weight without falling apart.. and require additional materials like tape.
During my last move I used the (costco) 27 gallon totes and it all went so much better. Even with hundreds of pounds per tote, these things just hold up, transport and store super easily!
