That being said these are pretty awesome, I put one on my FJR1300. One note, you would think that a 7" screen would be similar in size to my 6.8" cell phone. And you would be wrong. This one is HUGE.

How did you mount that? Looks good!
Video of my current install including boot up and connection time, touch responsiveness. Different unit but they're all pretty comparable.

TU to OP and rep to OP and poster for steering me to this. I probably won't use it often, but it will be nice for longer trips.
Thanks!
As always, your mileage may vary. If it works for you, rock on. Keep the rubber side down!

Indeed, keep the rubber on the road! Everything else in insignificant.
Agreed. In addition, I've been using one of the freebie Moto's from here for a while (as it makes a cheap nav being you can download your area offline in things like Google Maps) and have never had an issue with the camera.

Plenty of others have had their pricey phones ripped form quad locks and other secure mounts, damaging expensive bikes and putting a damper on good times. Another reason I do this is to make my phone the most likely easy target in a line of expensive parked bikes. Im usually the Captain and try to make our trips as painless as possible. When a bike gets damaged, it sends a ripple through the pack and people concentrate on the incident, rather than paying attention to the road ahead. Theft boils peoples blood. If my phone disappears, I wont tell others and use my regular phone and spare mount. Safety must always be the #1 priority, and everyone must remain relaxed, content and focused to remain vigilant.
