I had endless issues with the 6E band of this router. 2 RMA's, then ASUS basically told me to deal with it since their latest firmware's blended the channels or some other BS. ASUS is no longer a viable brand to me.

I had issues with this model rebooting on me for no reason constantly. After 3 RMA's they gave me a 16000...same thing...then a BE98 Pro...and guess what...same thing....We just beta testers at this point for their products.

Since you've given up on ASUS, what brand are you using instead?

I have the non-6e version and it's amazing. I can't imagine a need to upgrade anytime soon. Upgrading would be like getting an 8k tv. Why bother there's no need or content yet.

I've had this router since release and had absolutely Zero issues with it. Wifi 6E has worked flawless for me. It's a beast. Paid twice this and it was worth it, and still going strong.

It is $199 at Walmart. I am still using RT-AC88U and considering upgrade with another Asus, but many new reviews indicate sign Asus no longer on top of their warranty/service anymore.
