1982. What a year for movies, huh? To think 2 of the past century's greatest movies (The Thing and Blade Runner) were box office bombs that year.

Have you read "The Future Was Now" by Chris Nashawaty? It's all about the cinema sci-fi bonanza that happened in the summer of 82. Highly recommend it.

Nice deal, just be forewarned that a lot of reviews say that it doesn't have a digital code, despite the claim on the cover.

Even crazier are the HORRIBLE reviews The Thing got at release. Critics hated this movie, somehow.
