According to some Amazon reviews, some water could leak into the waterproof case. I'm guessing this waterproof case should be used with a Ziploc plastic bag. Put your smartphone in the Ziploc plastic bag. Put the Ziploc plastic bag in this waterproof case. Not the easiest nor fastest setup, but it's probably reliable for rain, high humidity weather, water splashes onto a boat, & shallow, slow swimming.

Agree and that was I thought. Could be more useful for water rides or if you wanted to go on a bike trail and worried about a sudden rain etc.

Does anybody really buy this product? These things are nothing but ziplock bags with a strap glued to them. With a bunch of paid reviews, it's not a good deal at all. It's worth maybe a dollar tops.

So you need a waterproof bag for your waterproof bag. Gotcha.
