pretty sturdy set in my opinion. very annoying to close the umbrella (you have to reach and pull down) so I've literally just left it open for months. surprised it is the first umbrella that didnt knock down with wind - still standing strong. but the umbrella is pretty flat and small (also square not round) - doesn't give you as much shade as the more arched and larger umbrellas I've had
I don't use it super frequently but I enjoy it quite a bit when chilling outside. I keep my umbrella closed until ready to use it as one time I didn't and it did knock it over the table and all. Got a water-fill umbrella base at that same time that I use.
