This is a good deal on a decent game. Many expansions to choose from. The only warning I will give is that this game requires you try to stop the other players, so it may sometimes feel as though everyone is ganging up on a player. If you, or anyone else, are uncomfortable with being a "villain" then maybe pass on this.

I had a 30% off coupon that came up as well bringing it to $5.98 with tax. Thank you!

The game seems like it would be fun. Starting out in a game, it even is a little fun. But by a few rounds in, it becomes a table of people mostly playing solo. It's poorly-balanced, almost entirely based on the luck of your deck shuffle, not very interactive, and once you've played a character, it's barely worth playing again. Some win conditions are literally impossible to hit depending on the character combination, so the endgame becomes a back-and-forth with two or three characters blocking each other's win condition until someone gets bored and gives up. Overall, it's beautifully designed visually and a great concept with terrible gameplay.

This board game is so much fun and for this price it's a no brainier to just try out if you enjoy board games in general. Prince John is one of my favorite villains to play 😈

I'm not trying to be rude, but many board games are "solo games" where you are trying to beat the other players and occasionally you interact with each other. And the replayability of characters is entirely subjective, just as it is with games themselves. Yes, if you play this game with 2 people and certain character combinations (mostly the expansions) the game can be very rough and you may need to tweak the rules.

I've played this multiple times with two different groups of friends and have always had a good time. Not sure why tie poster above hated it so much. Their experience was not what mine has been
