This bundle was $249.99 last month... They raised it by $20. I would strongly suggest getting the $399 7600x3d bundle with 32gb ram instead if you are doing anything with a rtx 5070 ti or better gpu..

I'm building a budget gaming pc that can be upgraded as tech gets cheaper. I'm just putting in my old 3070 for now. Keeping this under $300 was essential for me. Do understand what you mean.

Isn't $290 for the 9600x combo a better deal?

These combos were all cheaper by $20 not for days, but over a month. Now they go up in price and it makes front page? lol

Hey if it's what you can afford right now it's what you can afford, it's easy to nickel and dime a PC in to a significantly more expensive price. If you are going budget and aren't in a rush, I think you can do better than this deal for the money if you wait a bit, microcenter does very good holiday bundles.

Holy crap, yeah this is showing $173 for me and $190 for the 9600X combo. And they are back in stock. I really don't NEED to be building a new PC, but dang.

I wish I knew about this when they had their tax free day. I'm sure I could find a friend in Boston willing to pick something up for me...

EDIT: looks dead. They must have fixed whatever was causing the extra price drop in MA.

I saw the same thing in OH, but when I went to add it to my cart, the price updated.

I knew I should have tried to get Best Buy to price match as soon as I saw it this morning. Ah well.

this is a nice board update with a 650E chipset. 3 m2 slots, and a PCI Express 5.0 x16 slot, 6 usable USB ports on the back (7th is for updating the bios, plus a usb-c port on the back). memory speed support that'll (hopefully) be able to support the next few generations of CPUs and their speed. This is tempting.

great value, and it'll be upgradeable if you ever outgrow the CPU.
