The description says it can do 4k input and 1080p output. The images at the top say 1080p input and 4k output, which I assume is incorrect. Keep in mind if you are trying to transmit in 4k.

Like everything on woot this isn't some great deal. You can get this stuff on Amazon all day long for around the same price.

IMO, mirroring is worse than adding a 2nd device.

Example:
1, in powerpoint, having 2 devices means you can use the laptop with PP's preview screen & notes while the tv/projector can project the slide.

2, In Zoom, you can use the laptop to have the text/people screen to watch while sharing the tv/projector.

EDIT:
I'm interested in folks who have used these types of products before. How's the detection process? Any needed drivers? Any lag? What's the distance?

I'd like to know if it adds noticeable cursor lag as well as how much video compression is implemented. There is no way that it is 1080p uncompressed.

That is true for 90% of items. I do find some good deals from time to time, especially for under $35 range.

It's 5G so up to 1300 Mbps, which is capable of 1080p transmission.

i highly doubt this would be better than moonlight, chances are this adds hella lag. honestly running a long hdmi cable (depending on your setup in the home) is always an option.

played around with a few of these.
For regular productivity stuff, its fine. Any kind of video and it struggles, and lag makes any kind of gaming a no-go.
Passive fiber hdmi cables are not very expensive now, and solve the issue if you can deal with a wire.
