Piggy backing on above comment. Yeah seed oils, so I dunno how they call this junk less. I mean is it better than quaker? Sure.

It's specifically sunflower oil which doesn't have the same issues as other seed oils. Aside from the potential for inflammation if you over consume it without getting enough omega-3s the only other negative is the calories.

These look to be pretty solid and as mentioned sunflower oil is one of the least problematic of all the seed oils, so this in general is a great deal. Not a single artificial ingredient in the mix.

I feel like these aren't any different than great value granola bars at the Walmart 🤷

What's the issue with seed oils? From what I can tell the biggest issue is their omega-6 content, which is actually needed by the body but tend to be way over consumed in a typical western diet. However, provided one isn't consuming too much of it, there isn't cause for concern.

Saw these in the store the other day and was intrigued. You'd think the price would dictate better macros than the junk-full competition. But it was basically the same.

Problem is granola itself is not the best food. Way too much sugar. Rolled oats are a better option
Here's some basic math on it. Whole bar is 31 grams. There are 6 grams of added sugar. That means that by weight, this food is nearly 20% sugar. Not the best

This is reasonable thinking (vs the "it has seed oils" argument), but it's still reductionist, looking at each individual food vs. intake over the day. If this is your one "sugary" treat over a 2000 kcal day, it's not a big deal (though I have no idea if these are really a treat).
