Sell the 5060 for $300 and then buy a 5070 or 5070ti

If you want to play AAA games made in 2025 at 1080p max or 1440p high settings, do not buy 8GB VRAM GPUs, running out of VRAM causes stutters and missing textures. 8GB is already not enough for these types of games. Check out the links below and see if games you want to play are on them to see the performance:

Hasn't the **60 series cards always been the low-middle tier anyway? Seems like the 5060 still fulfills that here, ram limitations considered

I bought three of these for exam rooms in my clinic (some of the ophthalmic OCT scans we run require more graphics processing power than you'd expect in an eye clinic). After setup, I wanted to go back and avoid using an online account just to minimize M$ tentacles all wrapped up in my stuff, and decided it would be easier to just reset the PC to factory state and follow steps to refuse an online account (later found a different workaround). OOPS, the recovery partition(s) on the SSD did not contain the needed recovery image(s). Given I bought three identical machines I ended up doing a full setup on one machine with needed apps, preferences, and of course no M$ online account, and then just cloning the SSD to the other machines' SSDs. But someone less savvy would be in a lot of hurt if they needed a recovery partition that was not as advertised.Probable unique case but thought I'd share.

The 5060 would be able to max out 1080p textures in 2025 AAA titles if they didn't skimp with the measly 8GB VRAM, causing stuttering and low resolution texture swapping. I would expect a card in this tier to be able to max out the lowest common monitor resolution for most of these games, and it's sad that if only it had more VRAM it would perform great. But that's ok, since they'll increase the VRAM in the next GPU release cycle and sell you a new card.
