Almost perfect. The torque is kinda low with this model if I recall.

I seen some videos of it, it seems alright. I am willing to try it. I mostly wanted the batteries for my other tools. Too bad the deal wasn't the extended ratchet with 2 5 Ah batteries.

Yeah, I got this ratchet last week with the charger, two of the smaller batteries, and the stubby impact for $189 at Home Depot. I've used it a couple of times and it's fine. Some nuts you're going to have to lock it and break loose before using the automatic feature (even on our bicycles), but as someone with bad arthritis in my hands and wrists it's a life and time saver.

It's my only Milwaukee tool, and if the Dewalt ratchets weren't so damn expensive I would have probably gotten one of them instead, with higher torque.

35ft-lb is a lot for a electric ratchet. I think the highest produce 55. For most people this checks the boxes smaller for tighter areas, 450rpm.

This is a sweet deal! Saved another $39 by ordering through the Aafes/Shopmyexchange portal for the 10% discount and skipping tax. I have been waiting a long time (over a year at least) for a deal on the gen 2 Fuel M12 ratchets. I have the M12 nonFuel because the gen 1 Fuel head size was HUMONGOUS, not great for turning wrenches on cars. This also being the high speed... I think this is their best 3/8" ratchet? It is almost twice as fast as the nonFuel M12 I have. And two of the 5.0 Ah XC HO batteries is awesome! They have the 1/4" of this for $199 with 2 3Ah XC HO batteries, but since the headsize is the same not as much of a point I guess. Too bad the box head isn't on sale so can just have both.

You are right that this has 35ftlb of TQ vs. the gen 1 Fuel with 55ftlb. My nonFuel M12 also has 35ftlb and has been more than enough, if I need more I pull out the stubby gun 3/8" anyway. I mainly use these for removal / nut runners anyway and a tq wrench to tighten the rest of the way, and a stubby for the heavier work. Totally depends on what you are using these for... you might want the 55ftlb version for other kinds of work.

I used to be pro the brushed model because of size, but the new fuel high speed head is a bit wider but similarly shallow front to back and spins way faster. This is the ratchet to have if you only buy one.

Same here, there were planty of deals on the gen 1 Fuel, but that huge clunky drive head vs. the brushed model made it a non starter for me. It looks like the head size is directly related to available TQ... but if I can't fit the thing anywhere I need to use it (where the stubby won't fit), then it is pretty pointless. As it is I still have to use my manual rachets fairly regularly because they are still way smaller than even the brished version.

1/4" is available through this deal as well + battery return hack.
I like the 3/8" well enough but couldn't fit it in some tighter spaces with a 1/4" reducer so just picked this up so I now have both. Speed and torque are fine for my needs. If I needed more torque I'll use a breaker bar. If I needed more speed I would break something 😅

Well, this might be my first electric ratchet.

HD also has the stubby M12 impact with a hackable free battery offer (2x3.0ah) that brings the impact only down to $146.xx going right now. The 5ah HO batteries in this ratchet kit are supposed to be significantly better with the stubby impact than the smaller 3ah non-HO batteries. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../330542470

These aren't meant to break nuts, but to just get them off quicker after they are broken. The high speed is held in higher regard vs torque in those cases/

This model reviews very highly iirc.

Is this in 2 separate boxes or all in 1 box?
I'd like to purchase this if I can resell the 2 batteries and 1 charger, so hoping it's in a separate box since I don't need it. Anyone know?

This is a really, really good deal for a fuel ratchet.

In for one.
