Transfer switch with 6 or 10 circuits 30amp. Home Depot has it for 299. Comes with complete kit. Plug and play. No need for a interlock. Switch circuit on the transfer as needed between grid or this eco flow. Doing this away you also use a generator to plug in the outlet if needed.

Ecoflow has a smart sub panel that automatically switches to battery power when it detects an outage. I bought this exact setup a few years back that included the smart panel and a 400w portable solar panel. Using the smart panel you can create scheduling to charge your batteries when power is cheapest and power your home from the batteries during peak hours. Also note neither these batteries nor the ecoflow smart panel are outdoor rated.

if you can keep your usage down below the max output and flip off breakers for things like electric clothes dryer, electric stove, electric water heater etc.....interlock is the way to go so all outlets have power.

if your generator / power station is only 115V, you can buy a cord that crosses the hots when you plug into the inlet, so you can send power down both legs of the panel
if it's 240V, then you can just use a regular 240V cord into the inlet

The MOST important data point is the max amp rating of 15A. If you are installing solar panels, you need to pay close attention to the specs of the solar panel, because you can easily go above 15A before you hit 1,600W and that completely ruins the efficiency of the solar charging on these units. The new Delta Pro Ultra has a much higher amp input if you use both solar inputs on the device (30A).
