Normally if you see a SDCard included it will have a bunch of stuff already. Might not all work

Normally a pretty big mix of games, with a lot of notable ones (not just a bunch of fake games to pad the numbers) however many big name IP's like Nintendo and major Sega games will probably be absent because there are a few sue happy companies out there*. For the most part though, you probably should just delete the games and build your own collection because your nostalgia and someone else's might not align. Also, pretty hard to find something fun to play when you have to plow through 1000 NES games

*Not saying they don't have the right to protect their intellectual property.

I think this is known to have hinge issues? Either broken plastic hinges, or they get loose. Outside of that, can't go wrong with a SP.

Yes this is known to have hinge issues, especially the light grey model. I would avoid this as Miyoo will provide little support in the event that it does happen. Pick up an RG34XXSP or 35XXSP in a solid color instead if you want a cheap clamshell.

Heads up...someone was arrested recently simply for reviewing one of these "emulator" units.

Imagine what they'll be doing for those who sell and buy them. Buyer beware.

Most of the people here probably aren't subject to outdated Italian laws though. But also he was doing much more than just reviewing these consoles. That's just misinformation that people love to cling on to because of how bandwagony it is to hate on companies like nintendo. Sharing rom files, reselling devices with the pirated content, etc.

So...how long will it be before the crackdown starts to happen? I mean, look at other areas of tech -- the UK is having strong age restrictive ID verification put into place.

I mean, you do you, but buying something like this which is knowingly an emulation device....the entire use case of it sits on incredibly shaky ground as it is.

Given current global economic tensions, it wouldn't take much more than a nudge for such devices to put a person on the wrong side of the law. Like the fella in Italy. Doesn't matter if the law is "outdated" -- all that matters is that he got a very expensive pair of government steel bracelets out of the ordeal. Go ahead and argue "right and wrong" or "outdated" through the bars. I mean, you might win. It'll be costly. You know what, you go first, set the precedent.

Totally no problem with buying these consoles, everything is fine, this is fine, right? Right. You take the lead.

This would be the least of my concerns if the government decided it was ok to raid my personal property. A personal computer can easily be an emulation device, so this shadowy government you worry about will have a lot of work to do. Who's paying for this?

V2 still has the hinge issues? Because I've heard V1 does, but V2 does not.

Look it up on Reddit. There are issues across different models. Point is that it's a gamble and you can try and win it but there's a chance you will lose and have no support.
