They are the XC High Output 5.0ah batteries. I just omitted the XC in my OP. My bad.
No harm there. I was confusing the HO for the "Forge" line for that they have on the M18 series. Better deal yet then OP, thank you!

Does that mean that the tool and battery kit is inside 1 Milwaukee box? Or are they packaged separately?
Look at the part numbers, when its multiple items in multiple boxes HD just mashes the part numbers into one big part number, one is bare tool, one is presumably the battery starter kit, should come in two boxes, batteries and charger in one, tool in the other. I don't think they even make this in a single box kit, but if they did the part number would be XXXX-XX where the first four is tool part number, the last two is either 20 for bare or some other combination for the different kit formats.

You can tell from the product description it's just two separate products:"Model # 2486-20-48-59-2450P"

I want this and the 90 degree grinder, but even at $200 it is just overpriced for what it is.

The photo and the part number "2450P" both jive with the HO starter kit. I got this same deal with the pruner and the 5.0 HO batteries give me more power on the M12 hatchet chain saw vs. regular XC batteries. I really like them for that reason.

Btw this straight die grinder could replace the dremel if you're looking to buy dremel tool. I have right angle version a brushless Dremel. I would have to jump on this deal if I don't already own 10 HO 5.0 batteries. Also would have bought the straight die grinder because it's the same battery eco.

Came to say this too. This Die Grinder isn't even that much bigger than the M12 rotary tool, and you can buy a 1/8" collet to use any Dremel tools with it. It's basically a beefed up rotary tool with more power Smilie

Still "billed" as ONE on this particular deal. The Monday deal (which I got too) was listed separately on the receipt [i.e - "hackable"], so I can return the 3/8" ratchet (that I don't need) for $99.50 and keep the oscillating tools for the same.I was hasty placing that order in picking the ratchet vs the die grinder, but in hindsight that was a blessing as I gained 2 - 5ah batteries on this deal.BTW, Thanks OP!
Monday's deal was actually better. I ordered this die grinder (tool only) + the fuel oscillating tool + 2x 5.0 batteries for $199. So, got a free oscillating tool essentially.

Can I get a link to this deal? Didn't see it when I searched. Is it still active?

Yes, Mondays deal was better but I bought the ratchet instead of the die grinder because I overlooked that item.

This deal allowed me to get the die grinder I missed by returning the ratchet as if I didn't make that error. Granted I'll end up with the oscillating tool, the die grinder, and 2 sets of the 5.0 HO batteries w/chargers (4 batteries+2 chargers) for 298.50.

Depending on what I can flip the extra battery kit for, it will be a push at minimum flip of $100. This 5.0ah HO kit is currently on sale for $199, so I should be able to flip it for a bit more than the $100 I have invested in it.

In essence: This deal allowed me to correct my Monday error and likely save some more by flipping the extra battery kit.

Dang. I was going to call BS but that's real and a πŸ”₯ deal. Short lived, it seems, maybe a mistake - bummed I missed it. The oscillating tool gets rave reviews.
I was just about ready to pull the trigger on the cutoff tool + 2x 5AH batteries for $199... but I guess I'll wait and hope for this deal to come again

not coming back until another "oops", so go ahead with your purchase, especially if you need/can use the 5ah batteries. if not, maybe wait for a hack deal.

i have a nice dremel 8250 (which shares batt with my bosch flexiclick). i got this grinder on the "oops" Monday deal. wondering if i should switch from dremel to grinder (which i do have the 1/8 collet for). i rarely use the dremel and have never needed to use a grinder but if grinder works well as a dremel, i dont mind switching.
