Follow this link if you want to hack either Gen 2 Stubby. Simply add a stubby and battery pack to your cart and either the 3/8 or 1/2 inch gets down to $120. I purchased two locally just this morning.

Worked just fine for me. Go to the product page, select your "free gift", add both to cart, the price on each lowers. Standard hack.

Hey guys! Someone tell me... how to get the batteries out to get just the tool at the price? Do I have to order and return?

Keep in mind, this is the one that requires the HO batteries for full torque.

When you purchase, make sure that the pick up option is separate location. Go pick up the tool, and don't pick up the batteries. You'll get a refund later for the batteries when they cancel the order

OR

Go pick up both in store and return the batteries. Some locations will push back but the previous suggestion always works for me

Been waiting on a deal like this. Combined with the oscillating tool deal, I have the 5.0 HO batteries I was missing from my M12 collection.

Yeah... this 'deal' pairing it with the worst batteries they have (the old full size 3AH) is kind of stupid/insulting. You need the 'High Output' M12 batteries to get the most out of these.

there is a separate deal for $169 with these batteries included IF you want these batteries. i would rather get the 5ah battery in separate deal and skip these mediocre 3ah batteries

Anyone else had to remove their home depot alert due to the dozens of daily tool 'deals'? I understand SD needs these click throughs and I contribute, but the constant barrage of these non deals is making the site worthless.
