I have the Mario & Friends version, very compact and very soft cushioning. Use it to carry my og switch to friends house and play together since he doesn't have a switch. I love it! 👍

Dimensions are too small for hori splitpad, and other nicer 3rd party joycons. Might fit in the front pocket if you take them off, but I wouldn't chance it.
