I'm using this table as we speak except it was never marketed as an outdoor table:

I'm confused what makes this outdoor vs the old landing page where it was just an indoor dining table?

Same table sold under many brands. There is also a version with a hole in the middle for umbrella. I got one from an Alliexpress seller for $90. It's being used as a garage work table, so no idea how it will do outdoors.

It's actually a great table. I"ve moved with a couple times with it and it's made very solidly. One of the best value purchases I've ever made. But it's my indoor table not outdoor.

So I have some Ikea Alex drawers - could I just use only the tabletop from this and put it on those or is there hardware under the tabletop that keeps it together?

edit: nvm - images of the bottom make it look like it would add another inch or two to the height so I'll pass.
