If you're on the fence about getting a bidet: Just do it.
Once you get a bidet, wiping with paper will seem like savage behavior in hindsight.

It's true, no bidet is in the top 5 worst parts about traveling and staying in hotels. Getting a bidet cured my hemorrhoids.

I got a bottle cap style bidet that goes on a plastic bottle. Easy to pack and there's always a plastic bottle around.

Bought this last month, it's been great and I prefer it to the kind that goes under the existing seat (which can result in breaking the seat depending on the design)
The power level is pretty extreme though, so start off low otherwise the water might come out the other end

I have this, works great. One downside is we can't find a cover that fits the size and shape

I was hesitant about trying the bidet. After pulling the trigger on one from costco with heated seat and heated water, I hate going poopoo anywhere but my house...

Only downside is when you dont notice a power outage and then you goto use it and its cold water because it reset. I tend to jump off the seat.

That's why it's nice to just have one of these basic ones. No power necessary (often times there's not power near toilets anyway), and you get used to the cold - frankly, it can be refreshing.

My first ever bidet, had this one for 4 years now without any issues. Yes it only does cold water, but there is no need for an outlet or adding a hot water supply line. With the manual function your able to control the pressure, and under pressure you don't even notice the cold water even during winter.

what i use personally and love

things to note for bidets:
1. you may have to get a diff seat because you have to have the proper space below the seat because of the bidet itself.
2. yes they have toilet feet that you can order and just stick onto the toilet seat but i wouldn't recommend that, typically they are too high, so when you spray the bidet, the water shoots out the toilet and wets whatever in front of you
3. bidet is a game changer, i'd seriously recommend it for any household
4. "is it cold cause it uses the cold line?" i never have issues, but im from socal
5. having a bidet that serves the female side of things is considerate and nice
6. be mindful not all bidets aim at the right spot or angle. you might have to shop around to find the right one
7. I love the simplicity of the one i shared above. You literally just turn it one way for option 1, another way for option 2. no leakage and ive had this unit for over 2 years. Some bidets you gotta do multiple actions to get it to work.
8. sometimes you gotta replace your water line between the toilet and the wall.

Wow! This is a good deal. if the S/H to Hawaii wasn't so high, I would definitely get 5 of these. I'll have to settle for this for only $46 https://www.amazon.com/LUXE-Bidet...00P2XZIP2/
