I'm still baffled by the price of this thing, especially since it isn't even an OLED screen. I'm sure that will be available down the road though for an additional $100 premium.

Despite the hardware differential, the Switch 2 actually has exclusive games that I want to play and can't play anywhere else. And I'm not even saying that has some great compliment to Nintendo; I think the Switch 2's launch lineup is weak, but there's at least a few things there. Sony hasn't put out anything that I would care to play since the late PS4 era, and they now put everything on PC anyways.

This is pretty much my position with gaming. it's a Switch and PC gaming as the widest access to games since the other two first parties release their stuff on the PC while Nintendo really holds their IPs hard onto just their consoles. I hear that Sony and MS are looking to sell their exclusive games to the Switch 2 platform. My, how times have changed since the 2000s.

I think it varies a lot by location. Much easier to find online nowadays, but per their websites no Target or Best Buy in my city have stock right now.

I just purchased my first Nintendo Switch (1) on Ebay for $199. I got the OLED. I will wait until this one is $299 or less in a year or 2 LOL.

Yea; the hype and fomo was strong and the launch went well. However; there isn't a lot of new games and some of the best are still on the switch one or they are PC remakes.Why pay $70 for cyber punk when it's regularly on sale for $20 on PC or PS5?I think there's going to be a rush of used sales coming when the initial buyers get bored

I purchased mine from TheDailySaverLLC. It was 223 after shipping and everything. Open Box OLED. Came perfectly packaged looking brand and running great. I spent $23 on Amazon on some different color controllers just because of preference.
