Aren't these readily available now at pretty much any store? Nintendo did a great job creating a surplus of inventory by delaying the launch. Fastest selling console ever, as a result of having more stock initially available, but it seems like demand has waned. We'll see how the console sells in the long run.

My target has them in stock literally every time I go and whole display is full.

Hope they lower the price by at least $50. Having the PS5 sitting at $450 and $500, makes it illogical to get a Switch 2 right now. Switch 2 portable mode is not the best looking either.

Im gonna wait for the price to drop… doesn't seem all that much different than the regular switch console

Have the ps5 and ps portal. Gaming is significantly better but do miss being able to play the switch offline on flights etc

Still a bit ymmv. Maybe becoming more available in last few weeks but I have never seen any in stock in Chicago at any retailers. I went to Costco last week because it said in stock on app and they laughed at me like I asked where the basement in the Alamo was. But I am definitely seeing more online availability lately.
I'll never understand comments like this. If you never bought a Switch, want your Switch games to load faster, want a Switch 2 and/or most importantly want portability with a huge library (Switch 1 games) Switch 2 is a fine purchase. If $50 is meaningful to you maybe buying a gaming console in general shouldn't be your priority
so you are saying $50 being meaningful should prevent someone from buying this? These days $50 can buy a ps4/xbox one off classifieds. Those you can argue are close in performance to a Switch 2. Just because someone feels it is overpriced shouldn't cause them to hesitate the value of a console. I for one feel it is over priced and alerts like these are helpful when I have been submitting for ink recycling and have some rewards, so thanks op.

This isn't a deal. This is the normal price and they are available everywhere. This post needs to be removed.

This isnt a deal and it's not hard to find Switch 2 on shelves. Not sure why it's FP.

Stop posting things at MSRP. And if this is here because "it's never in stock" then why do I see these multiple times per day.
This is a great deal for anyone who shops at Staples, especially since it's the first time Staples has made it available for shipping. There are several ways to stack discounts—such as credit card offers, coupons, and Easy Rewards.
I paid a total of $1.05 including tax after redeeming $499.99 in Easy Rewards, and I even got a free 16GB USB drive with the order.
It might not be a deal for those who don't normally shop at Staples or collect Easy Rewards, but for some, this is hands down the best deal in town.

When the guy said it's illogical to buy a Switch 2 when a PS5 is about the same price, he wasn't taking into account all the factors that made sense to buy one which was just listed by the guy you replied to. If you are starting off with no consoles or games at all and picking between two systems, it may make sense if you want higher graphics (if that's your priority) for the same price. But obviously, we got a new console that can play portable PS4 pro/Xbox One Series S graphics, A LOT more exclusive first party titles and it's coming off as a sequel console to the Switch 1 that has a gigaton of software titles that is backwards compatible. I am not saying I disagree with the $50 point you made, and that makes total sense. that previous reply was to his "illogical" conclusion which seem to imply that should be the case for everyone.
